  11. Interaction with McAfee Virus Scan
  12. ----------------------------------

  14. On some systems with McAfee Virus Scan installed and the ScreenScan 
  15. option enabled, you may experience sound and vision glitches in this
  16. screen saver. To rectify this problem you can do one of 3 things :-
  17.  
  18. 1) Disable the ScreenScan option completely.
  19.   
  20.   Right click on your desktop to open the 'Display Properties'.
  21.   Click on the 'ScreenScan' tab.
  22.   Click the 'Enable Scanning while in screen saver mode' check box.
  23.   Click the 'Ok' or 'Apply' button.

  25. 2) Lower the priority of ScreenScan
  26.  
  27.   Right click on your desktop to open the 'Display Properties'.
  28.   Click on the 'ScreenScan' tab.
  29.   Click the 'Advanced' button.
  30.   Move the 'Scan Priority' slider to LOW.

  32. 3) Switch off the Screen Saver's Sound option.

  34.   Right click on your desktop to open the 'Display Properties'.
  35.   Click on the 'Screen Saver' tab.
  36.   Click the 'Settings' button.
  37.   Click the 'Sound' check box.
